HIGH SCHOOL TEENS – A MUST KNOW FOR PARENTS

High school teens benefit from human design intelligence because it helps them understand how to navigate their career choices going into college. They will learn key indicators as to which ‘voice’ to listen to and when, power centers to rely on, and how to steer their role and unique attributes in an authentic way; strengthening their confidence during the high-impact, impressionable decision-making years of this pivotal time in their lives.

Parents usually have a pulse on their teen’s personalities through observation but sometimes unknowingly encourage and advise teens in ways that may not be genuine to their natural design and life purpose. Because the parental role is one of the greatest conditioning relationships, the impact of this could deter a teen from their actual design, leaving them depleted, discouraged, frustrated, bitter or angry. The truth is, each of us is uniquely designed. This tool provides the insights to put both parents and teens on the same page.  

For instance, a parent may encourage their teen to follow in their footsteps, take on a family business or apply pressure to become a doctor or lawyer to ‘make the family proud.’ Maybe a teen is modelled to work for others when it is in their design to build a new idea or company themselves as a natural leader and entrepreneur. Perhaps you have a teen rebel meant to bring about change in this world, mistaken for a problem child.

A common mistake made all too often, is an empath that is criticized for being too sensitive or an intuitive child that is overlooked for defying authority because they know ‘somethings’ amiss. A person with an emotional authority, for example, is instructed to ride the emotional waves of highs and lows, landing on a decision through emotional clarity and equilibrium, as this is their process for discovering their personal truth. 

To feel seen by our loved ones helps us feel safe and secure so we have the freedom to go into the world as our authentic expression with confidence. This tool aids parents in guiding and supporting teens with accuracy to ensure a greater degree of success and sustainable happiness. High school teens will particularly benefit from the insights gleaned by having an opportunity to understand the natural aspects of their character to foster, optimize and grow.
